Business Development Representative – Vacation Rental Property Management

Job Overview:
Day Drinking Properties is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Representative to help grow our portfolio of vacation rental properties. You will be responsible for reaching out to property owners, building relationships, and converting leads into clients for our vacation rental management services.
We provide a list of leads, but you’ll also have the opportunity to network and generate additional business. Your goal is to educate property owners about our services, showcase the benefits of professional vacation rental management, and close deals that expand our footprint in Nashville.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Outreach & Relationship Building:
• Contact and engage with property owners from our provided leads list.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients through phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings.
• Educate property owners on the benefits of professional vacation rental management.
• Sales & Business Growth:
• Conduct consultations and property evaluations with interested owners.
• Present our service packages and explain how we maximize bookings, revenue, and guest satisfaction.
• Negotiate agreements and close deals to onboard new properties.
• Market Research & Networking:
• Stay informed about the Nashville short-term rental market, regulations, and competitor offerings.
• Attend networking events, real estate meetups, and industry conferences to generate leads.
• Collaborate with our marketing team to refine outreach strategies.
• Pipeline Management & Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of outreach efforts and lead statuses in our CRM.
• Provide regular updates on sales progress, challenges, and opportunities for growth.
• Work closely with the property management team to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new clients.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Experience in sales, business development, or real estate (vacation rental experience is a plus).
• Strong communication and persuasive selling skills.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Familiarity with CRM software and basic sales tracking.
• Understanding of the vacation rental industry and property management is a plus.
• Ability to network and develop relationships with property owners.
